Orders and Shipping

What is the status of my order?

We will send you a message as soon as your order is processed, and a second email when your order has been shipped. You can always check your order status in the my orders section within your account.

I have made a mistake in my order, how can I amend this?

In case you want to amend your order, please contact us asap as we try to ship your order as soon as possible. Please use the option “order amendment” within our contact form, and we will try to amend your order if possible.

Where do you ship to and how long does it take?

Watches

What type of movement is being used?

At the heart of our watches lays a Swiss Ronda 762 Quartz Movement. Ronda Quartz movements have a good reputation for being of very good quality and extremely reliable.

Are they waterproof?

All our Cara & Grace watches are 5ATM waterproof, which means that they could be worn whilst doing the dishes, showering, swimming and even snorkeling. We do not advise wearing the watches while taking a bath or going swimming.

What is Sapphire Crystal glass?

All Cara & Grace watches are equipped with a double-domed Sapphire Crystal glass. We have picked Sapphire Crystal over “regular” mineral glass as the durability of Sapphire glass is a lot higher. Sapphire glass has a very high degree of toughness and is thus very scratch resistant. Therefore, your Cara & Grace watch is protected against undesirable scratches on the surface of the watch glass.

The double-domed mineral gives the watch a very clear watchface without any distortions.

Sapphire is commonly used by luxury watch manufacturers such as Rolex, IWC and Patek Philippe.

How can I replace the battery?

All our watches contain a Ronda 762 quartz movement that is powered by a V365 1.5V battery.
We recommend you to visit a certified watch repair shop to replace your battery.

How big is the watch?

Currently all Cara & Grace watches have a case diameter of 38mm.

Out of which material are the watches produced

Our Cara & Grace watch cases are produced out of 316L surgical grade stainless steel. Using this material we are able to make the watch much more durable than with silver or platinum.

Straps

Do all watches have exchangeable straps?

All our Cara & Grace watches come with exchangeable straps. And all Cara & Grace straps are equipped with our Quick Release system.

How can I change the straps?

In order to make the exchange as easy and fast as possible, we have equipped all Cara & Grace straps with a Quick Release system. This system allows you to exchange Cara & Grace straps within seconds without the need of any tools.

How do I clean my strap?

Leather Straps:

As all Cara & Grace leather straps are produced out of genuine Italian leather, we highly suggest cleaning your strap regularly in order to keep them soft and clean.

  1. Wipe the strap with a dry cloth, as moisture and dirt easily get trapped between your arm and the watch.
  2. Scrub the strap with a damp cloth and soap, put a little bit of handsoap on a damp cloth and scrub the strap on both sides. Clean the cloth and wipe off the strap. Make sure to dry the strap thoroughly before wearing.
  3. Apply leather conditioner, in order to extend the lifespan of your strap. Please follow the instructions on the packaging.

Mesh Straps:

Our mesh straps are easily cleaned using a damp cotton ball or microfiber cloth. In case this did not fully clean the strap, you can use a soft toothbrush to clean more thoroughly.

Which material is being used for the straps?

Our Cara & Grace leather straps are produced out of genuine Italian leather and our mesh straps are produced out of 316L stainless steel.

Service and Warranty

How long will I have warranty?

We provide a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase on all manufacturing defects. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear or aging of your watch as well as damages caused by misuse or external influence like water and accidents (e.g. impacts, fracture). The warranty does not cover batteries, crystals, crown, cases, straps and wearing parts.

Where can I buy the watches in physical stores?

At the moment Cara & Grace watches are only available via our original Cara & Grace website.

How can I return my watch?

In case you would like to return (parts of) your order, please note the following:

You have the right to cancel the purchase agreement within 14 days without giving any reason and to return the goods to us. The cancellation period is 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. In this regard, please also consult our cancellation policy in our terms and conditions.

Please proceed as follows:
We kindly ask you to contact returns@caraandgrace.com and provide your order number.
Our customer service will provide you with a) a shipping label and b) a return document so you can return the product back to us.
Please make sure to put a hard copy of the return document inside the parcel. This will allow us to process your return swiftly.

Do you offer gift cards?

At the moment we do not offer the option to purchase gift cards.
